This partnership combines POMEGA’s advanced battery technology with Jebla’s deep local expertise to deliver large-scale energy storage solutions and accelerate Mexico’s transition toward energy independence.

The project includes Mexico’s first LFP battery cell manufacturing facility, set to launch between 2027 and 2029, with an initial capacity of 3 GWh and plans to reach 6–10 GWh by 2031.

Jebla Energy, the financial arm of Grupo Jebla, supports the project through innovative financing models such as leasing, ESCO (Energy Service Company), and public–private partnerships (PPP) — broadening access to renewable energy investments across the country.

As the first international investment advancing regional energy security without Chinese integration, POMEGA Mexico positions the country at the center of North America’s clean energy transition.
